Role Summary

Senior Research Executive is an exciting position in which successful candidates will play an essential role in delivering strategic audience, category and product based research projects for our commercial teams. Projects which help enhance Mail Metro Media’s reputation within the media industry and secure current and future advertising revenues. You will be part of a thriving team who pride themselves in turning data into actionable and compelling insights.



  • Helping to deliver Mail Metro Media insights strategic category, audience and product research projects
  • Assist in the day-to-day management of the Mail Metro Media insight community
  • Maximise engagement with community members, create and analyse quantitative surveys and moderate discussions
  • Drive forward our research and analysis techniques and offering
  • Manage cross media campaign effectiveness studies from start to finish
  • Provide audience, market and category based insight to support Mail Metro Media’s commercial teams
  • Examine industry research and data, e.g. TGI, Mintel, PAMCO and IPSOS IRIS
  • Examine internal analytics tools for traffic and data trends, e.g. Omniture, Permutive
  • Collaborate with Marketing Teams to create compelling sales stories
  • Present research findings to internal and external stakeholders


Required knowledge, skills and abilities

  • Strong understanding of quantitative and qualitative research techniques
  • Strong written and communication skills
  • Strong numeracy skills and attention to detail
  • Competency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel and Word
  • Confidence in presenting
  • Strong desire to learn and be a team player


Experience required

  • At least two years in a research role
  • Experience using and managing research communities (optional)
  • Experience working in media and advertising industry (optional)
