Head of Mediatel Connected

As a result of business growth Mediatel is looking for a Head of Mediatel Connected.

Mediatel is the UK media industry’s number one destination for media data, planning tools, market insight, news and conferences.

What You’ll Be Doing  

You’ll oversee and manage all aspects of the Mediatel Connected and BRAD businesses. You’ll set the strategy of both products to ensure they develop to reflect client needs; ensure excellent customer service and have responsibility for achieving revenue targets. This role reports to Mediatel Limited’s C.E.O. and is part of the senior management team.

Responsibilities

• Revenue: Set and achieve revenue targets. Find and investigate new revenue opportunities and implement where appropriate.
• Business Planning: Set business priorities; produce product roadmaps; oversee individual and team targets.
• Client servicing: Ensure delivery of excellent customer service and drive engagement, maintaining high customer retention rates.
• Sales and marketing: Lead sales and marketing strategy.
• Product Management: Liaise with clients to determine developments. Work with in-house teams to produce product enhancements, new functionality and services.
• Data Management: Optimise efficiencies around data research and delivery processes. Incorporate media industry research developments into the products and identify new sources of research to add to the product. Oversee the development and commercial arrangements around Mediatel’s proprietary research and 3rd party suppliers.

About You

You have:

• Extensive experience of working in the UK media industry with a strong interest in media research data.
• Deep understanding of the current agency environment and the products and services best placed to service it moving forward.
• Strong commercial sensibility, excellent negotiation skills and an established network.
• You may have successfully led a team, forming the strategic direction of a product or service.
• You are a confident presenter with excellent communication skills, and you are self-directed, flexible and tactical with the ability to pitch in and be a problem solver.
