We’re thrilled to invite you to the MRG Conference 2025 in Utrecht—a city shaped by its historic canals. This year, we’re drawing inspiration from those waterways for our theme: Navigation.
How do we chart a course through an ever-changing media landscape?
The Oxford Dictionary defines navigation as “the skill or process of planning a route for a ship or other vehicle and taking it there.” In our world, we may not be steering ships, but we are constantly plotting routes—for our brands, our consumers, our teams, and our organisations.
We want to hear your stories:
🚢 Have you charted a new course in media research? Tell us how you or your organisation are navigating the evolving industry.
🧭 Overcome a tricky research challenge? Share how you tackled complexity and found a way forward.
🌊 Drowning in data? If you’ve developed an innovative approach to make sense of the numbers, we want to hear about it.
If you have a compelling journey to share, we’d love for you to be part of this year’s conference. Submit your paper and help us navigate the future of media research together.
Send a one-pager to frances.sheardown@kantar.com explaining why the MRG delegates will be interested in hearing all about it. Please name the speaker(s) who would be likely to be presenting your paper if selected and please call your file something other than MRGpaper2025.doc to make it easier to collate all the papers! The deadline for submission is 5pm Thursday 17th April, i.e. before we all disappear for the long Easter weekend. All speakers will be required to buy a ticket to the conference and all papers will be published on the MRG website after the event.
The conference itself is 19th – 22nd November 2025
The MRG is excited to announce its first keynote speaker - Nicole Greenfield- Founder and CEO of The Confidence Craft
Nicole is a Master level Neuro-Coach who’s passionate about empowering high achievers to master their mindsets, turbo-charge their talent and perform at their peak.
Nicol founded The Confidence Craft so that more people could break through their glass ceilings to believe, achieve and receive what they want in life and business.
Through her science based, ‘Inside-Out’ approach, Nicole supports both leaders and future leaders through her coaching programmes, public speaking, workshops and CPD accredited Mindset Mentor training – and her soon-to-be published book. Nicole’s not only a Master level Neuro-Coach, but a qualified and accredited trauma-informed coach, NLP and IEMT practitioner, all of which she brings to her work.
She’s also a behaviour and communications specialist (she has a Masters degree in this stuff) and has racked up more years than she cares to admit working in advertising research, TV and marketing and speaking on stages all over the world. (Including numerous MRGs!)
When she’s not working, Nicole is mum to two fabulous small people and loves nothing more than paddle-boarding, baking, travelling and getting her adrenaline fix. (Wing walk anyone?!)
Ticket price: The full ticket price for the 3 day conference will be £2,575. This represents incredible value for money as it includes flights, 3 nights in the hotel and the gala dinner – as well as the conference itself.
